A traditional old English eating apple dating back to 1800. Prefers a warmer climate and will tolerate poor soil, sandy and windswept areas. Both the tree and the fruit have good disease resistance. Blossom will appear pink turning white later to produce somewhat knobbly dull green fruit with patches of light brown russet. Fruit will store under the right conditions. Self-Fertile. Picking late November.
