Apple - Isaac Newton
Available for collection from Assington, Suffolk
A little piece of History. Also known as the Flower of Kent, this is the variety the famous scientist Sir Isaac Newton sat under when the notion of gravity came to him. Unusually late flowering so a useful variety in areas subject to late frosts. Large fruits that will cook to a sweet delicate flavoured puree. Good cropper, harvest late October
Pollination group - C
