    "Metasequoia Glyptostroboides" sometimes known as the Water Fir. A giant of a fir tree (30 meters+), fast growing but will need a large area to thrive. A dense spire on a straight truck. Reddish brown fibrous bark. Bright green summer foliage turning a copper colour in early autumn. Suitable for most soils but does prefer slightly acidic soils. Is flood tolerant.

    Barefoot trees are available for delivery or collection from our tree nursery during their dormant period, Mid November until late March. Any trees purchased after this peroid can be reserved until the next available season.

    Potted trees are available for collection all year round during normal working hours.
