Available for collection from Assington, Suffolk

Ulmus Wingham is a fast growing, complex hybrid elm cultivar featuring two Asiatic and two European species, bestowing exceptionally high resistance to Dutch elm disease. This tree was introduced to the UK in 2011 and successfully trailed in Kent, and later in the Isle of Wight. This Elm plays an import part in the recovery of some endangered species, including the native white-letter hairstreak butterfly which has been on the decline since the 1960s. This is a worthy introduction to add to the British countryside.
