The old "greengage" is sometimes known as the Old English Greengage. It's considered the best flavoured gage variety. The fruits are quite small and are a dull green colour, turning slightly yellow when ripe. Good cropper once the tree is fully established. Will grow well in most soil, and prefer full sun in sheltered spot.

When will my tree be ready?

Barefoot trees are available for delivery or collection from our tree nursery during their dormant period, Mid November until late March. Any trees purchased after this peroid can be reserved until the next available season.

Potted trees are available for collection all year round during normal working hours.
