Hazel is a fast growing hedge plant, it's catkins give the first indication that spring is arriving. Once the catkins are pollinated the develop in oval fruits which hang in groups of one to four. The mature nut with its woody shell is a favourite of Squirrels and Dormice.

It is tolerant of most soil conditions.

Price is per bundle of 25 whips - approx height 60/80 cm

When will my tree be ready?

Barefoot trees are available for delivery or collection from our tree nursery during their dormant period, Mid November until late March. Any trees purchased after this peroid can be reserved until the next available season.

Potted trees are available for collection all year round during normal working hours.
