Mirabelle - Ruby Columnar

Ruby Columnar has the largest fruit of the Mirabelle species.    The fruit has an exceptionally sweet taste. Bright red in colour with the flesh inside also red. Best eaten straight from the tree, can also be used for cooking. Prefers a shelter spot and in full sun.

This particular variety has an upright habit which is very different to other Mirabelle varieties which generally have a more spreading habit and are much more bushy. Excellent for a smaller. 

Will need a pollination partner - Avalon Plum, Rivers Early Plum, Dennistons Superb Gage.

Barefoot trees are available for delivery or collection from our tree nursery during their dormant period, Mid November until late March. Any trees purchased after this peroid can be reserved until the next available season.

Potted trees are available for collection all year round during normal working hours.
