Very similar to growth habit to Carpinus Betulus (Common Hornbeam). Grey truck, ovate, serrate ribbed leaves, but in Autumn this tree puts on a spectacular show. The leaves turn a fiery red, orange colour and can stay on the tree well into early winter. Can tolerate most soil including heavy wet clay.

Barefoot trees are available for delivery or collection from our tree nursery during their dormant period, Mid November until late March. Any trees purchased after this peroid can be reserved until the next available season.

Potted trees are available for collection all year round during normal working hours.
